There have been many changes in this sector of the retail trade in recent years, with ever increasing ranges of beers and wines, the emphasis on improved displays has become more important.

Chilled beers and wines are now a "must" for every off licence, whether it be in glass door or open fronted specialist cabinets. Off licence retailers are now having to create better displays of specialist ranges, with the use of specialist woodern shelving and lighting helping to maximise sales.

More attention is also now being given to the design of counters, to enable retailers to offer for same impulse goods such as confectionary, crisps and other snacks.
